Graphing Ordered Pairs
Say that you would like graph a set of ordered pairs such as
{(2,3), (4,5), (6,-9)}.
This is done in two parts. You must first enter the ordered pairs and then graph them.
Bold text indicates a selection that can be made on the sreen of the calculator.
Pink text indicates a button that must be depessed on the keypad.

| 1. STAT 2. Select EDIT by pressing ENTER or 1. 3. Enter the x coordinates by doing the following a. 2 then DOWN ARROW b. 4 then DOWN ARROW c. 6 then DOWN ARROW 4. Enter the y coordinates by doing the following a. RIGHT ARROW b. 3 then DOWN ARROW c. 5 then DOWN ARROW d. -9 then DOWN ARROW |
1. 2nd Y= (This is STAT PLOT) 2. Select PLOT1 by pressing ENTER or 1. 3. Select ON by pressing down arrow. 4. DOWN ARROW 3 times to the MARK row. 5. Use the left and right arrows to select a type of marker for the ordered pairs. 6. Press ENTER. 7. Press GRAPH. |
