Area of a Rhombus

The area of a rhombus is calculated by multiplying the base by the height.

base * height = b(h)

or

1/2 diagonal1 * diagonal2 = 1/2(d1d2)

     Alternate formulas can be used in this case. This is because base, width, and length are interchangeable for this figure. Base~width~length.
