Steps

Step 1 Solve each inequalitiy individually using the DC01*G method
Step 2 Graph each inequality's solution individually under the number line.
Step 3 Using, two vertical lines, split the two graphs by their endpoints into three sections.  Label the true and false areas with T's and F's.
Step 4 If a section has two T's include it in the final answer.

Directions:  Please solve the following inequality. If there is no solution, please state, "No Solution". Also, graph the solution set.

3(x+6)>9      AND     -2x+6-8x>-34

Step 1 & 2 Do the DC01*G method.

D 3x+18>9 AND (no distribute needed)
C (no collect needed) AND -10x+6>-34
0 3x>-9 AND -10x>-40
1* x>-3 AND x<4
(Here you must flip the symbol because we divide by -10.)
